24k Gold Rolling Papers!
USA – Shine and its 24K Gold rolling papers add a new action to the ever-growing list of Things You Can Do with Gold.
Currently populated by: 1) Eat it; 2) Shit it; and 3) Buy expensive things with it, stoners and recreational tokers alike will rejoice to lay their lungs upon number 4: Smoke it.
In what looks to be a groundbreaking collaboration between 50 Cent and Leisure Suit Larry, 24K Gold rolling papers aim to lavish even more luxury and class onto the process of getting high, polishing off a 16″ Meat Lovers deep dish solo, and taking a 90-minute snooze on the floor with my buddy’s Australian cattle dog at 3 in the afternoon.
Shine puts it best when they say, “24K Gold creates the ultimate party atmosphere.”
Gold rolling papers come in packs of 12, and require a fat wad of cash to purchase.
In fact, using them is pretty much a literal interpretation of the idiomatic expression “burning through money.”
It probably wouldn’t cost any more, or produce any less of an effect, just to roll a joint in a $5 bill.
Hey Abe Lincoln! How do you feel about MJ?
Shine 24K Gold rolling papers should be used in conjunction with legal smoking herbs only.
Chris Brown & Drake Make Peace
Las Vegas – The long-lasting feud between Chris Brown and Drake appears finally over as reports claim the one-time music rivals have placed their differences behind them.
According to reports, Chris Breezy and Drizzy formally ended their dispute a few days ago in Nevada.
The musicians — who got into an epic fracas at Soho nightclub W.I.P. in 2012 — hugged it out at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas over the weekend.
Sources tell us Drake and his crew came to the music fest on Friday specifically to watch Brown’s performance.
“Drake came on Friday with his whole crew, and watched Chris’ entire set,” we’re told.
After Brown came off stage, a spy told us: “They were backstage hugging and drinking.”
We’re told the reunion went so well, the two even talked about creating some tracks together. (New York Post Page Six)
Coincidentally, a Def Jam executive is the key reason they managed to come together.
Sources tell us the mediator of the reunion was Def Jam music exec Abou Thiam — who’s one of Brown’s managers and a brother of rapper Akon.
We’re told Thiam is “very friendly with Drake, and worked to try and get him and Chris together to put their differences aside.” (New York Post Page Six)
Over the summer, Cash Money boss Baby said he believed Drizzy and Breezy were ready to move on from the beef topic.
“I don’t know their situations.
Drake is my family, I don’t cut the corners with that. I don’t play with that,” Birdman revealed in an interview.
“When it comes to my family, I’m prepared to die for that and that’s the little homie.
We rock with Chris, we don’t have any problem with the lil’ homie whatsoever.
Really though, [the beef] is old. It’s past due.
Even them, they’re feeling the same way.” (RapFix)
In June, Drizzy admitted he would never see eye-to-eye with the R&B hitmaker.
“I hear he has everything he could want now.
I don’t want my name to be synonymous with that guy’s name.
I really don’t.
I wish we could sit down just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man.
But that’s not going to happen.
I’m not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I’m not going to back down.
If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot, like I get a feeling it could end really badly…Like, it gets really dark.” (GQ)
Earlier this year, Brown showed no remorse for going at Drizzy on records.
“Man, y’all can’t take me serious, I’m not a rapper,” Chris said in an interview.
“Nah, f*ck that, it’s all good.
It’s rap, man, it’s hip-hop.
It’s not going to escalate.
It’s like kiddy rap right now.
So as far as what I’m doing — I put my frustrations out in my music ’cause I know ain’t nothin’ finna happen.
I say whatever I want.
Rebuttals are going to be stupid, I’m not a rapper so you’re going to be stupid rapping back to a singer.
But I’m gonna keep coming, n*gga. I don’t care.
[laughs] It’s all good.” (“Sway In The Morning”)
Prior to those comments, Brown said he did not have any ill will toward the Toronto emcee.
“People can coexist. It’s not entertainment for me.
It’s just more of me being real, saying what I gotta say.
I ain’t out here trying to go at him, I ain’t got n*ggas after him.
I ain’t got ‘people’ after him.
We just chilling. I have my differences and he has his — his music’s still hot.
I’m not gonna put myself in a situation to mess up my career.
3 Rob Church Then Have Yard Sale
Slidell, LA – Three members of a Louisiana family have been arrested after they allegedly stole items from a church and sold them at a yard sale at their nearby home.
Clariese Jones, Paul Mikell and their daughter Olivia Jones of Slidell, La., admitted to repeatedly burglarizing the El Bethel Apostolic Ministry in Slidell, St. Tammany Police Capt. George Bonnett told ABCNews.com.
The trio, who were arrested Sept. 23, stole music equipment, water coolers, electronics and generators in two separate robberies of the church, which is currently under construction.
Detectives worked on a tip that the family was selling the stolen goods at a garage sale on Brookter Road in Sidell, only a few streets away from the church site on Allen Road.
Once they arrived at the Brookter Road home, detectives noticed several speakers, a CD player and other electronic items advertised for sale on the front lawn.
While inside the home speaking with the homeowners, detectives said that they also noted two water coolers in the living room and an additional speaker placed in the rear yard of the residence.
“We’ve recovered most of it,” Bonnett said.
“We’re very close to having all of it — about 95 percent has been recovered.”
When questioned by police, all three admitted that Olivia and Clariese Jones went inside the church building on Sept. 12 and removed multiple items while Paul Mikell waited outside in his vehicle.
However, Clariese Jones was booked on unrelated charges after deputies with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.
Paul and Olivia, working with a fourth person police have identified only as Beaux, sold several of the stolen items to bail out Clariese, police said.
After Clariese was released from jail, she and Olivia went back to the church to rob it again.
Clariese Jones, Paul Mikell and Olivia Jones were arrested for simple burglary of a religious building, and are currently being held at St. Tammany Parish Jail on $30,000 bond. It is unclear if they currently have an attorney.
Lil Scrappy & Friends Leave the World's Smallest Tip
Crunk & Disorderly broke the story after they received an email from Lil Scrappy's server, basically explaining the absurdity of her encounter with Scrap.
"I work at a restaurant in South Florida," reads the email. "Monday night Lil Scrappy, Bambi, and two other men came to my job for dinner. They ran up an $85 bill, paid in cash, told my co-worker the service was great, and tipped her $3 and change."
To find out what really went down, RumorFix gave Scrappy's attorney a call and got to the bottom of it. His lawyer Mawuli Mel Davis said, "Scrappy was with a group of people--and he paid for his portion and left before the bill arrived. He thought they were leaving the tip."

Stacey Dash Regrets Voting Obama in 2008 Over Skin Color
Outspoken Republican celebrity Stacey Dash isn't overly impressed by President Obama, and says she regrets voting for him in 2008 simply "because he was black."
Dash was most recently angry over Attorney General Eric Holder's challenge of a recent state voucher system in Louisiana.
"I just think its absurd. The natural evolution of a well-educated populous is integration, and for them to deny a child a better education because of the color of their skin is ludicrous and defeating the purpose," said Dash. "This is proof that this administration is a bunch of bullies. They need to drop these charges. The school system has become a part of this huge government machine, governed by people who aren't close to the situation. That's why I'm a Republican. I believe in small government. The government is just too big and we have to make it smaller, people are getting lost."
Though Dash supported Romney in the last election, she surprisingly voted for Obama in 2008.
"I didn't know anything about Obama when I voted for him in 2008," she said. "My choice to do so was purely because he was black. Naively, I thought he would be the right person for the job but unfortunately it didn't turn out that way."
Pirate Bay Founder Has Various Charges Dropped in Hacking Case
In the criminal case of Pirate Bay founder Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, a Swedish court just recently decided to wave some of the charges. The Svea Court of Appear dismissed a case against Warg on Wednesday which was related to the hacking of Nordea Bank AB. Warg claimed his computer could have been remotely accessed, and the courts could not disprove this claim.
Though he's still facing serious charges, it's a small step for the file-sharing king. Back in 2009, he and three other Pirate Bay associates were given one-year sentences for copyright violations, and had to pay $6.5 million to the entertainment industry.
After a series of wild events, including his escape to Cambodia and eventual capture, he's now served all the time from that previous charge.

The New Deadly Drug? Krokodil!
A deadly drug which rots the flesh of users has hit the streets of Arizona.
Krokodil — which kills most addicts within a year of their first hit — is a poisonous cocktail of codeine, gasoline, paint thinner, hydrochloric acid, iodine and red phosphorous.
The injected narcotic — which originated in Russia and is dubbed “the drug that eats junkies” — is three times cheaper to produce than heroin.
Victims suffer from gangrenous sores that open all the way to the bone.
‘ Terrifyingly, two reports of people using the drug in Arizona were reported this week — sparking fears an epidemic could be about to engulf the state.
They arrived in emergency rooms with their flesh hanging off their body, reports Fox 5.
“We’ve had two cases this past week that have occurred in Arizona,” Dr. Frank LoVecchio, co-medical director at Banner’s Poison Control Center, told KLTV.
“As far as I know, these are the first cases in the United States that are reported. So we’re extremely frightened,” he added.
“We’re afraid there are going to be more and more cases,” he ended.
The use of Krokodil, which has the medical name of desomorphine, spread across Russia “like a plague” since 2002 and there are now 3 million users, a Time magazine investigation reported in 2011.

Famous Blue-Skinned Man Nicknamed 'Papa Smurf' Dies at 62
Paul Karason, nicknamed "Papa Smurf" for obvious reasons, has died.
Karason was born fair-skinned, but later in life developed skin with a bluish tinge as the result of a medical syndrome known as argyria, caused by prolonged ingestion of silver.
Karason died at 62 after being treated for pneumonia at a Washington hospital after having suffered a heart attack.
He said the blue tinge started after he began drinking a homemade brew known as colloidal silver to treat a skin condition. Karason claimed the potion had other positive benefits as well.
“The acid reflux problem I’d been having just went away completely,” he said. “I had arthritis in my shoulders so bad I couldn’t pull a T-shirt off. And the next thing I knew, it was just gone.”

Blanco was found shot to death in the street on August 1, 2012, and police have been on the case ever since.
McLeod released some mixtapes and a few videos, but appeared a long way from reaching stardom.
