Dr. Conrad Murray, the physician put behind bars for killing Michael Jackson, is a free man after serving just two years.
The L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. reports that Murray was released at 12:01 a.m. Monday, sneaking out a back way to avoid paparazzi.
Murray has been locked up since November 2011, after being convicted of manslaughter. He was sentenced to four years behind bars, but only served two, which is pretty standard for a four-year sentence.
TMZ reports that Murray plans to try to get his medical license back in Nevada and block revocation in California, but sources tell the gossip site he doesn't stand a chance.
He's also looking to hire a publicist once he's out to help him score interviews and get his tell-all memoir published, which he wrote a good chunk of while locked up.
