Justin Bieber Refuses to Turn His Back on Lil Za & Lil Twist
Despite all of the controversy that has come Justin Bieber's way since he has been hanging out with Lil Twist and Lil Za, the Biebs has no intention of turning his back on his friends. Sources close to Justin spoke to TMZ and allege that those close to him have been begging him to separate himself from the two Lil's; however, Justin isn't willing to do so.
Because Justin has spent many years surrounded by adults as he has progressed as an artist, he's now relieved to have a group of true friends his age to hang out with.
50 Cent May Not Be the Father of Daphne Joy's Child
The ex-girlfriend accusing 50 Cent of attacking her in a domestic dispute may not be the mother of his child, according to the child's official birth certificate. However, the findings don't leave 50 completely off the hook.
According to TMZ, ex-GF Daphne Joy is listed on the certificate as the mother, but it does not list a father. Despite the missing daddy, there's still evidence that suggests 50 is the father after all. Notably, the child's last name is listed as Jackson, which is of course 50's real last name.
Neither 50 nor Daphne ever officially suggested that they had a child in common, but the L.A. City Attorney's Office sure seems to think it's 50's. When they announced the domestic violence charges, they also noted that the two did indeed have a child together.
If it is 50's kid, it's not his only one. He has a child with another ex-girlfriend named Shaniqua Tompkins.
Wale Upset About Tiara Thomas Signing With Interscope
Wale's collaborative partner on a number of songs, Tiara Thomas, opted to sign with Interscope recently, leaving Wale saddened on a number of levels.
The two have collaborated several times since 2010, and most recently got together for the song "Bad." Wale definitely feels a bit betrayed by Thomas' decision.
"It's all good. Shout out to Tiara Thomas and her new situation. It'll take a while for me to do that again," said Wale. "I got trust issues already. I was trying to do something special off loyalty, and based on that, I realized that everybody looking out for themselves. I need to start looking out for myself. I got artists that I am helping but it will never be at that capacity again."
Since the split, both artists have released new versions of their single "Bad."
The summer of 2013 has seen a potent wave of hip-hop. We aren't even near finished with summer, and there's already been at least five huge rap releases so far.
This past week, three albums head the top three spots on the Billboard 200 chart for the first time in history. With J. Cole first, Wale second and Kanye third, the only question is where "Magna Carta Holy Grail" will fall? In all likelihood, Hov's solid new album will push at least one of those rappers out of the top 3, giving hip-hop the first four spots.

Big Sean Unsure How Eminem Collaboration Will Be Released
Big Sean spoke to The Breakfast club about his meeting with Eminem and how impressed Em was when Sean played him his entire upcoming album, "Hall of Fame."
"I ended up playing my whole album, front-to-back, straight through, and [Eminem] said, 'I haven't been this impressed in so long with someone's album. I knew you could rap.' He was like, 'You're really gonna do something big with this.' So that was just an honor. Coming from the D, that was the person that showed us that it was real, showed us you can be the biggest in the world from where we from."
As far as the collaborative track they recorded together, Sean is currently unsure how or where the song will be released.
"I can tell you this. There's gonna be a Big Sean Eminem song. I can tell you that. I don't know if it's gonna be on my album. I don't know if it's gonna be on whatever album. I don't know. It might be for something that we've got planned later on."
He then went on to share his opinions on Kanye's latest album, "Yeezus." While Sean acknowledged that it has a fresh style and that it takes courage to craft an album with that sort of innovative style, it isn't his favorite Kanye album.
"So first, you gotta just respect that. You gotta respect somebody pushing the envelope and being a Rap album. As far as the album goes, it ain't my favorite Kanye West album, but I think it's fresh."
Floyd Mayweather Displays His Epic Stack Of New Shoes
Aside from his insane boxing ability, Floyd Mayweather is also known for his extravagent money spending habits. Earlier today Money May kept up his traditional flexing traits by sharing a look at his new shoe pick ups on Instagram. In the photo Mayweather is seen with an enormous stack of shoes which matched up just below his height.

Beyonce Fans Go Nuts on Nick Cannon's Twitter Over Diss
During the premiere of "Wildin' Out" Nick Cannon had to hate on his wife, Mariah Carey, during a game of "Hater," but he turned his attention to Beyonce. In a mocking tone, Nick stated "How dare my wife sing at our beautiful wedding and didn't lip sync like Beyonce did at the Inauguration."
All Twitter broke loose after Nick's comments, and Beyonce stans went after him for dissing their Queen.
Daft Punk Collaborating With Durex to Release Line of Condoms
Daft Punk wants to help fans "Get Lucky," and are collaborating with Durex for a special line of their own condoms.
The prophylactics feature the cover art from their recent highly acclaimed album "Random Access Memories," along with their name on the back.
In order to promote the special rubbers, Durex has been distributing samples to DJs. Diplo posted a pic on Instagram this week of a pack of the condoms along with the caption, "Thank god I had those daft punk condoms last night."

Lawrence Taylor Jr. Arrested
Lawrence Julius Taylor Jr., the 31-year-old son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor, has been arrested in Georgia on felony criminal charges of statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and aggravated sodomy in connection with alleged sexual assaults on two juvenile females, according to police.
The arrest/booking report on the website of the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office says Taylor Jr. was arrested Sunday by police in Power Springs, Ga.
He was being held without bond in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in Marietta, Ga.
In a statement, the Power Springs Police Department said detectives interviewed the two females who made the allegations.
“One juvenile alleged that a sexual assault occurred on (July 6) at Taylor’s Power Springs residence.
Another juvenile alleged consensual sexual contact with Taylor in early 2012,” said the police statement.
The Cobb County District Attorney’s Office said the maximum penalties, if convicted, are 25 years to life for aggravated sodomy, 25 years to life for aggravated child molestation and 10-to-20 years for statutory rape.
The son gave the presentation speech in 1999 when his father was inducted into the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
“If I could pick anybody to be my father, I would pick Lawrence Taylor every time.
Me and my father have a good relationship,” he said in his speech.
Lawrence Taylor, now 54, played with the NFL’s New York Giants from 1981-93 and was named to the Pro Bowl 10 times.
World Peace Let Go By Lakers?
If you were one of the people who bought into the rumors indicating that the Los Angeles Lakers would use their amnesty clause on Kobe Bryant, you were unfortunately wrong. According to reports, the team decided to use the clause on veteran forward Metta World Peace (AKA Ron Artest) instead.
If the Lakers wouldn’t have waived World Peace, they would have been forced to pay him $7.7 million next season on an expiring contract. Although he is still a very good player, especially on defense, the 33-year-old is limited and likely had no future in Los Angeles.
Last season with the Lakers, World Peace averaged 12 points, five rebounds and two steals per game. Those are decent numbers, but Los Angeles probably feels like they don’t need him because they don’t have much chance at a championship this season anyways.
This move could definitely add to the rumors that the Lakers may be considering tanking this season for a high draft pick in next season’s NBA draft with Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker. In addition, LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony will be available through free agency after the upcoming NBA season.
As for World Peace, he will have no problem finding a new home in the NBA. He is a great defensive player and he is one of the few defensive stars capable of intimidating opponents. However, he does not fit with a young team trying to rebuild. He will likely sign with an older team that is trying to make a run at a championship.
World Peace would be great fits with the Brooklyn Nets, San Antonio Spurs or even the Miami Heat.
Then again, World Peace is the type of guy who loves media attention and he is known for giving a stupid quote every now and then. He will have to land with a team that is willing to put up with that sort of personality.
Women Suing Over Genital Search
TEXAS – The two women who are suing after they were subjected to a humiliating and invasive cavity search on a Texas roadside on Memorial Day last year have spoken out about their ordeal.
Brandy Hamilton, 26, and Alexandria Randle, 24, told reporters how they were ordered out of their vehicle, not permitted to put on clothes to cover the bikinis they’d been wearing at the beach that day, and given cavity searches right by the side of the road.
The disturbing video of the event, which was caught on the dashcam, captures one of the women asking in disbelief, ‘Are you serious?’ when the officers tell her they’re going to give her a cavity search.
The women are sharing new details about what happened to them that day.
Alexandria Randle still can’t believe what happened to her and her friend. She felt ‘violated’ and ‘embarrassed’ by the body cavity search on the side of a Texas highway after they were stopped returning from a weekend at the beach.
‘I couldn’t even imagine if this were to happen to… one of my little cousins… I just want this to be the last time this happens here,’ she told KHOU11.
Speaking about police searching people for drugs, Brandy Hamilton said, ‘If it comes to that, then take the person into jail, you don’t have to do it on the side of the road.’
‘It’s been traumatizing,’ she said. ‘I don’t know if I can trust the cops anymore, it’s just been very – a very horrific situation to me.’
The women are suing the Texas Department of Public Safety and the sheriff of Brazoria County, Texas, where the stop occurred.
Their lawyer alleges that the search was meant to humiliate them and was conducted without probable cause
The female officer who performed the invasive search, which included inserting a finger into the women’s vaginas, is accused of using the same pair of gloves to search both women.
The entire 40-minute traffic stop was caught on the trooper’s dashboard camera.
Attorney Allie R. Booker told MailOnline her client’s case is startling similar to a July 2012 case in Dallas in which DPS trooper Kelly Helleson aggressively searched Angel Dobbs and her niece, Ashley Dobbs – including giving them a body cavity search and not changing gloves between searching the two women.
Booker said a third case, that has yet to become public, bears the same hallmarks, as well.
‘How are these people behaving in the same manner, hundreds of miles away from each other. There’s got to be some factor at the DPS that makes these officers think they can do this,’ she said.
Miss Hamilton and Miss Randle were on their way home to Houston from Surfside Beach on May 28, 2012, when they were stopped for speeding by DPS trooper Nathaniel Turner.
Turner immediately asks both women to step out of their car. Both were wearing only their two-piece swimsuits from their time at the beach.
Ms Hamilton, the driver, asks if she can put her dress on to cover up.
‘Don’t worry about it. Come out here,’ the trooper tells her.
Turner says he can smell marijuana in the car and accuses the women of smoking and driving. He later claimed that he found a piece of a smoked marijuana blunt under the back seat of the car.
He then makes the two women sand on the side of a busy highway in their swimsuits while he calls for backup.
‘One of them has got her zipper open on her pants of her daisy dukes shorts – whatever they are,’ the trooper says on the radio.
Two more troopers show up – including Jennie Bui.
Bui, as trooper Turner explains, ‘is going to search you.’
‘I ain’t, because I ain’t about to get up-close and personal with your woman areas… she is going to put some gloves on,’ he says.
‘You’re going to go up my private parts?’ asks Hamilton, sounding bewildered.
Despite numerous pleas from the two women not to perform a body cavity search, Bui ignores them.
Both women can be seen with pained looks on their faces as the trooper probes their genitals.
Miss Randle sobs uncontrollably as she is probed.
At one point Turner says: ‘Don’t smoke weed in your car and you won’t have to go through this.’
Booker, the lawyer for the two women, said the behavior of the troopers was outrageous.
‘If the cavity search alone isn’t enough and say it’s their fault that you basically just sexually assaulted them – that’s humiliating,’ she said.
Turner later released both women and issued Miss Hamilton a citation fro possession of drug paraphernalia. She is still fighting the charges in court, though she contends the marijuana wasn’t hers.
Trooper Bui was fired last week by the DPS. Trooper Turner has been suspended, Booker said.
‘These police officers are here to protect and serve,’ Brandy Hamilton told KHOU11.
‘And they did not protect me at all. Not one of them.’

Alleged texts from 50 Cent to his son Marquis popped up in the media on Monday, and the "Candy Shop" rapper decided to explain the situation on Twitter. Fif alleges that Marquis' mother is behind the whole thing, and she sold the story to the media because he's "winning."

Jay-Z & Beyonce Ignoring the Birth of Baby North West?
Jay-Z and Beyonce might be all smiles on camera, but their actions suggest otherwise. While they're supposed to be tight with Kim and Kanye, reports suggest the two haven't seen baby North West yet.
According to Radar Online, "Kim had hoped Beyonce would have the chance to get out to her home for a visit, but unfortunately didn't have the time."
It had been previously reported that Beyonce did make it to see the newborn, but that clearly didn't happen. Despite the drama, an insider says Beyonce has been giving Kim "invaluable parenting advice."
Hopefully the two couples remain friends, with Blue Ivy and North becoming the best of friends.

Brooklyn Man Electrocuted After Urinating on Subway Tracks
A man was killed in Brooklyn, New York after being electrocuted Monday morning while walking on the tracks near the Broadway G train stop, according to police.
30-year-old Matthew Zeno and another man were walking north on the southbound side of the subway, near Union Avenue, when Zeno stopped to pee and accidentally contacted the third rail with his stream, according to the FDNY and NYPD.
The second man, who was not named by police, attempted to help Zeno, but also sustained an electric shock.
Both men were rushed to Woodhull Hospital, where Zeno died of cardiac arrest.

As everyone already knows, Kanye West is a fashion enthusiast, and h recently collaborated with the Parisian brand A.P.C. to come out with some "Kanye" branded attire. The clothing company confirmed their union on Twitter.

Some of the original Hot Boys are getting back together for a collaboration, confirmed by Turk. Durant Engaged To WNBA Player
Because over the weekend, Kevin Durant and Monica Wright — one-time high school basketball stars from P.G. County and Prince William County, respectively — got engaged. Via the Star-Tribune’s Kent Youngblood:
“The two first met at the 2006 McDonald’s All-American high school all-star showcases in San Diego, and have remained tight since,” Fox Sports North reported this spring. “
Amid the hubbub surrounding their final organized prep action, Wright and Durant spawned their friendship more than seven years ago in San Diego.
The two clicked instantly, sharing stories of their East Coast upbringings — Durant’s originally from Rockville, Maryland, while Wright hails from Woodbridge, Virginia — and giving out basketball pointers.”
In a slightly different world, the two would have met at a Washington Post photo shoot.
Because it turns out that Durant and Wright were The Post’s two All-Met basketball players of the year that season, both starring on regional covers of the All-Met section.
However, both players were unavailable to attend the group photo shoot, which instead starred future Maryland guard Eric Hayes with his eyes closed, plus Austin Freeman, Greivis Vasquez and Chris Wright.
I’m no sports wedding historian — although that appears to be my new career path — but I’ve got to guess this is the first time two All-Met players of the year from the same season have ever gotten engaged.
French Montana Arrested In NJ?

Details Emerge In Lil Phat’s Murder
ATLANTA, GEORGIA — An Atlanta rapper was shot dead in a car outside a hospital where his fiancee was due to give birth in what prosecutors say was an elaborate murder-for-hire plot involving gang members, a former Russian mobster and a basketball star.
Melvin Vernell III — known as Lil Phat — was killed after he stole 10 pounds of marijuana, prosecutors said.
They’ve indicted five people in the plot, including another rapper they say belongs to an Alabama-based gang, a former Russian mafia member turned informant and a college basketball standout from California.
Vernell, who was 19 when he died, stole the drugs from Decensae Xavier White, a San Francisco State University point guard also known as Griz, and Gary Bradford, a rapper who goes by El Dorado Red, prosecutors said.
Plane Crashed At SFO Airport
SAN FRANCISCO — An Asiana Airlines flight from Seoul crashed on landing at San Francisco’s airport Saturday, forcing passengers to escape the aircraft using inflatable emergency exit slides.
Two people were reported killed and 61 injured.
Images from the scene showed smoke billowing from the plane and emergency exits open from the plane’s fuselage, with the tail separated from the aircraft.
Gaping holes could be seen in the roof of the plane’s body, blackened by fire.
San Francisco Fire Department officials said two passengers were killed and 61 injured, KTVU reported.
The plane was a Boeing 777, FAA spokesman Lynn Lunsford said.
It crashed on runway 28L at San Francisco International Airport, he said.
There were 291 people aboard, KCBS radio reported.
Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg said in an e-mail that she was on another flight from Korea landing at San Francisco at the time.
“I was on another flight from Korea at the exact same time.
We are OK. My friend on that flight is OK, too,” Sandberg told USA TODAY.
The wreckage was sprayed with white fire retardant.
Parts of the plane were scattered over a broad area, though the bulk of the plane remained in one piece.
Laura Brown, spokeswoman for the FAA in Washington, said Asiana Flight 214 from Seoul was attempting to land at San Francisco International Airport when it crashed.
“All we know is that a foreign airline, Asiana Airlines Flight 214 arriving from Seoul, South Korea, crashed while landing,” she said.
“That’s all I’ve got right now.”

A 200-person party hosted by local rapper Teyana Taylor in Morningside Park descended into mayhem late yesterday — leaving one cop hurt and another reveler arrested, police and attendees said.
The crowd gathered around 9pm at West 120th Street and Morningside Avenue and quickly got out of hand, party-goers said in Facebook posts.
“It’s like LA (cali) after a riot out here at Morningside park. Police everywhere.Helicopters in the sky. Madness,” posted Aaron Rose.
The mob first occupied the park, then moved on to the West Side Highway and attempted to climb the fences of Riverbank State Park.
A Housing sergeant injured his shoulder trying to quell the crowd, and a 14-year-old was arrested for firing a gun into the air, police said.
“They just shot Teyana Taylor cookout up,” read one post on Twitter, while another noted “After it got dark teyana taylor cookout got mixxy lol ..had to leave.”
Taylor recently signed to Kanye West’s music label.

TORONTO, CANADA – One erects buildings, the other erects … well, you know … but it seems a construction company in Canada is taking a shot at Kim Kardashian with a hilarious street sign.
The Bay Adelaide Centre in Toronto, Ontario is currently under construction — but in an effort to alleviate public concern, building honchos posted a sign telling the locals, “Construction set to finish faster than a Kim Kardashian marriage.”

Hernandez Accuser To Testify!
HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT — A Connecticut man who says he lost an eye after being shot by Aaron Hernandez in February was ordered Friday to appear before a grand jury in Massachusetts that is considering the murder case against the former New England Patriots tight end.
Superior Court Judge Joan Alexander in Hartford ordered Alexander Bradley to appear July 17 in Fall River, Mass., where a grand jury is looking into allegations Hernandez orchestrated the shooting of Odin Lloyd, according to a clerk for the court.
Lloyd, a 27-year-old semi-pro football player for the Boston Bandits, was found slain June 17 near Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough, Mass.
Prosecutors say Hernandez arranged Lloyd’s shooting because he was upset at him for talking to certain people at a nightclub.
Hernandez has been charged with murder in district court in Massachusetts but a grand jury indictment or probable cause hearing would be necessary for him to face trial on felony charges.
Hernandez, 23, has pleaded not guilty.
The Bristol County district attorney’s office in Massachusetts said it could not comment on any grand jury investigation.
Bradley, 33, has filed a civil lawsuit against Hernandez, asserting he was shot in the face by the former player in February as they were driving in Florida after arguing in a Miami strip club.
At the time, he told police he did not know who had shot him.
Bradley had been fighting an interstate grand jury subpoena, asserting he needed to return to Florida for medical treatment on July 10.
Attorney Robert Pickering argued Friday that Bradley’s civil case has nothing to do with the Massachusetts investigation.
“The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is relying on a statement of a lawyer of Mr. Bradley that these crimes are strikingly similar to the crime in the Hernandez matter,” he said. “Clearly this petition states that my client has never stated that.”
Alexander found that Bradley’s medical treatment should not prevent him from being in Massachusetts a week later.
Also Friday, a man wanted as an accessory after the fact in the Lloyd killing was turned over in Florida to Massachusetts authorities.
Fatal Drive-By Shooting In Chicago
(WEST SIDE) CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – A 48-year-old man was killed and seven others were wounded in a drive-by shooting Saturday on Chicago’s West Side that the police said was gang-related.
A 72-year-old woman was among the wounded, according to the police, who said she was shot in an ankle and was not among the most seriously injured.
The man, shot in the chest and groin, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:26 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The 72-year-old woman was taken to Stroger Hospital, along with a 42-year-old woman who was shot twice in the right thigh, a 43-year-old man shot in the leg and back, and a 45-year-old man shot in the groin, police said.
A 31-year-old man shot in the wrist was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
A 20-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the right leg showed up at Mount Sinai Hospital.
“It’s crazy,” said Rashauda Tolbert, a niece of the dead man. “Kids can’t play outside. People can’t sit on their porches.
“The shooting has been going on for days,” said Tolbert, who she was on her way to her security job when she heard about what happened and rushed back to her family.
“Why we gotta be prisoners in our homes?”
A detective on the scene said the shooting was gang-related, apparently related to a shooting on July 4.
This time, whoever pulled the trigger sprayed bullets across what appeared to be a large area.
Yellow evidence markers stretched across an area of more than a block.
The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. on West Flournoy Street at South Francisco Avenue.

Nicki Minaj, along with Myx co-owner and Monami Entertainment's Mona Scott-Young and Myx Fusions Moscato hosted an exclusive "Myx & Mingle" Cruise aboard the Aqua Azul yacht in New York City. Over 300 guests turned out dressed in all-white attire, including Busta Rhymes, Tahiry, and DJ Whoo Kid, just to name a few.
Revelers sipped Myx Fusions in peach, coconut and original moscato flavors while dancing to music provided by DJ Headache. The massive, 4-level yacht was dressed elegantly in royal blue and white, courtesy of Hiram Smith of Hiram Style.
As fireworks went off over the harbor, Nicki presented her boo SB with a birthday cake before going into an impromptu performance of her verse from French Montana's "Freaks."
Six guests walked away with a Myx gift basket featuring Nicki Minaj's Pill Beats, Pink Friday Fragrance, a Myx 4-pack, posters and other goodies.
Toni Braxton's Nightmare Bankruptcy Is Finally Over
Toni Braxton's ongoing bankruptcy case is finally over and done, though it cost her almost $150,000 to get everything settled.
Braxton filed for bankruptcy back in 2010, with debts reported to be as high as $50,000,000. According to court docs, Braxton worked out a deal where she could buy some of her property back that was lost in bankruptcy. She had to pay $5,000/month for 15 months, with the last payment being $50,000. Braxton was able to pay each month, until that last big one.
In addition to that, just after filing for bankruptcy, Braxton made $754,000 off of shows overseas. She felt she was entitled to keep the money, since the shows in question took place after the bankruptcy. But, she was allegedly paid before.
Braxton and the trustee came to an agreement this week, as she paid off the $50,000 she still owed and $100,000 more for other issues.
Lil Twist Recruits Bieber & Miley For His New Song "Twerk"
Young Money rapper Lil Twist is looking to capitalize off of Miley Cyrus' surprisingly apt twerking abilities, fresh off his recent collaboration with Lil Wayne and Chris Brown. Twist recruited Miley and his BFF Justin Bieber for the track, which is appropriately called "Twerk."
Twist revealed the cover art for the single, which pictures what else but Miley getting her twerk on.
"#3youngmoguls #powermoves," tweeted Twist.
The song will show up on Twist's upcoming album, "Bad Decisions."
Beyonce & Solange Skip Out on Mathew Knowles' Wedding
Mathew Knowles got married this past Sunday in Houston to Gena Avery, but neither of his two famous daughters were in attendance.
Papa Knowles spoke to TMZ and told them, "Unfortunately, Beyonce and Solange had previous engagements which made it impossible for them to attend."
Mathew and Tina Knowles separated in 2009, though they weren't officially divorced until 2011. Mathew Knowles' strained relationship with Beyonce has been highly publicized, but according to the family, everything is cool.
Gang Members Allegedly Tried to Attack Future & Ciara in L.A.
Rumors are surfacing that Ciara and Future's plans to party after the 2013 BET Awards was ruined as gang members allegedly tried to attack the "Tony Montana" rapper. One of his security guards named Roscoe allegedly got messed up in the melee, and was rushed to a local L.A. hospital.
The club, Greystone Manor, was shut down for the night following the incident and helicopters patrolled the parking lot to make sure the area was safe. Neither Ciara or Future have commented on the situation.

Dwight Howard Picks The Rockets
Dwight Howard is headed to the Houston Rockets, sources told ESPN’s Chris Broussard on Friday.
Howard’s camp has informed the other four teams pursuing him that the free-agent center will not be signing with them, sources said Friday, leaving only the Rockets.
Howard has told the Los Angeles Lakers that he will not be re-signing in L.A., a league source told Broussard. A Lakers spokesman denied they have been told of Howard’s intentions.
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban confirmed the Mavs are fully out of contention for Howard. TheGolden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks also have been told they are out of the running for Howard, a source told ESPNLosAngeles.com.
USA Today earlier reported Howard’s final decision to join the Rockets.
Rockets general manager Daryl Morey wrote on Twitter that they have yet to be contacted by Howard, and that no deal is in place.
T.I. Excited to Be Independent Artist Again
T.I. is once again an independent artist after his deal with Sony fell through, and he seems to be really happy about the situation. Tip recently sat down with MTV News, where he talked about his mindset after learning that he was going to be an independent artist again.
"It's a lot of work, man, it's a lot of resources to be dedicated to it. But at the end of the day I think it's worth it. It put me back into mind of where we were after 'I'm Serious,' where we had to put our own funds and resources into [2003's] Trap Muzik ... I think that led to a beautiful situation ... and I think right now we're just working to reach another beautiful situation."
Rihanna Sends Not So Subtle Message to Chris Brown Over Duet
It was recently reported that Chris Brown took his duet with Rihanna of his upcoming album, "X," but he included her on a list of artists he tweeted out on Thursday. Chris wrote, "New album features @NICKIMINAJ ,Kendrick , @rihanna, @KELLYROWLAND , @wizkhalifa ,@bobatl and more surprises to come. 'X'"
Soon after Chris tweeted the list, Rihanna posted a not so subliminal response. She Instagrammed a photo of Joseline Hernandez and a quote from "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta."

Alleged Aaron Hernandez Shooting Victim Forced To Show In Court
The man claiming Aaron Hernandez shot him in the face earlier this year might be now regretting his decision to sue. Alexander Bradley has been ordered by Superior Court Judge Joan Alexander to appear before a grand jury later in July, despite his attempts to fight the subpoena.
Bradley sued Hernandez last month over an incident at a Miami strip club that left him shot in the face. Hernandez is currently facing a murder charge for the death of Odin Lloyd, and the judge believes Bradley will be able to help.
KFC Threatens To Sue "Hitler" Chicken Restaurant In Thailand
An unusual chicken restaurant in Thailand has Kentucky Fried Chicken threatening legal action. The restaurant is called "Hitler," and features a logo based on that of Kentucky Fried Chicken's. Instead of the Colonel, Hitler is pictured complete with an apron and bowtie.
KFC told the Huffington Post that it will take legal action if the situation isn't dealt with.
"We find it extremely distasteful and are considering legal action since it is an infringement of our brand trademark and has nothing to do with us," said a spokesman for KFC's parent company, Yum.
Bangkok resident Alan Robertson, 43, told The Daily Mail that the chicken he ordered there was "pretty good," and that the servers told him they believed Hitler was a "good image."

Lil Wayne Protege "Flow" Arrested for Attempted Murder
YMCMB rapper and Lil Wayne protege "Flow" was arrested and charged with attempted murder and two counts of armed robbery. The New Orleans native was arrested in Oakland, CA by a US Marshals task force, and was returned to Chalmette, LA after fleeing the state.
Flow had reportedly fled to California after attaining arrest warrants for shooting and barely missing an acquaintance on April 29. The up-and-coming rapper had allegedly beat that man and another man for their cash and cellphones. According to reports, he had two other people helping with the robberies.
The YMCMB artist has appeared on Lil Wayne's "Sorry 4 The Wait" and "Dedication 4" mixtapes, and is known for his work with The Flamez aka Flame Gang Muzik. He is being held at St. Bernard Parish Prison on a $350,000 bond.
Aaron Hernandez Suffers Through Solitary Confinement for Safety
Aaron Hernandez has been officially transferred to the "Class 2 Unit" which is solitary confinement, at the Bristol County Jail where he is being detained. TMZ spoke to Bristol County Sheriff Tom Hodgson who explained that the move was solely for Hernandez's protection.
"The reason for this move is simply to protect him. We wouldn't want some inmate trying to get any notoriety by attempting to harm Aaron Hernandez. He can have access to the phone, yard for fresh air, and the common room. Having just met with him earlier again after his evaluation, and for a man who has gone from 7,000-square-feet to a 10x7 cell, he is doing very well and seems to be taking the situation great. He is very respectful and calm. Also to this point he has had no special requests."

Serena Williams' Dad Angry She's Dating a White Man?
Serena Williams' father Richard is reportedly not feeling her relationship with her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou. According to GossipExtra, Richard disapproves of Serena's relationship, and his absence at her Wimbledon tournament this week was much talked about.
A close friend of Serena's spoke to the site about the situation, saying "He loves (tennis champ and Serena's sister) Venus more than Serena."
The source, who asked not to be named publicly, added "Venus can do no wrong in Richard's eyes. When Venus declared forfeit (because of an injury) for Wimbledon and didn't go, there was no way Richard would go."

Fake Drug Checkpoints In Ohio
MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Police in the Cleveland suburb of Mayfield Heights know they’re not allowed to use checkpoints to search drivers and their cars for drugs.
So they’re trying the next best thing: fake drug checkpoints.
Police in the city of 19,000 recently posted large yellow signs along Interstate 271 that warned drivers that there was a drug checkpoint ahead, to be prepared to stop and that there was a drug-sniffing police dog in use.
There was no such checkpoint, just police officers waiting to see if any drivers would react suspiciously after seeing the signs.
Authorities say that four people were stopped, with some arrests and drugs seized.
They declined to be more specific.
The Plain Dealer in Cleveland reports that some civil rights leaders and at least one person pulled over by police are questioning the tactic, wondering if it could violate the Fourth Amendment against unlawful searches and seizures.
“I don’t think it accomplishes any public safety goals,” said Terry Gilbert, a prominent Cleveland civil rights attorney.
“I don’t think it’s good to mislead the population for any reason if you’re a government agency.”
Nick Worner, a spokesman for the Cleveland office of the American Civil Liberties Union, said his office will be looking further into the fake checkpoints to determine whether anyone’s rights may be being violated.
Dominic Vitantonio, a Mayfield Heights assistant prosecutor, said the fake checkpoints are legal and a legitimate effort in the war on drugs.
“We should be applauded for doing this,” Dominic Vitantonio said.
“It’s a good thing.”
